Elizabeth Humphreys is a public speaker, podcast host, and advocate for memory diseases.

Since her mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, Elizabeth has made it her mission to join the battle against memory related diseases by building awareness and bringing support to caregivers and family members.

Liz is the co-chair of the young professionals board for the Alzheimer’s Association in Nashville and she sits on the National Council for the Longest Day, their primary annual fundraiser. She is a public speaker who shares her personal story and experience with Alzheimer’s to help build community and awareness around the disease.

In 2020, she started the 501(c)3 Mind What Matters to assist in research and awareness programs and help those affected by Alzheimer’s. In 2020, Elizabeth started the podcast Mind What Matters to further shine a light on the devastating impact of memory disease and how far reaching the impact will be in the very near future.

Elizabeth’s greatest gift is the ability to empathize deeply with others and bring people together from a vast array of backgrounds to get behind a single mission. As for that mission, Elizabeth says:

“I’ve dedicated myself to helping others like me in dealing with the impact of Alzheimer’s. I don't want anyone to feel like they are alone in dealing with memory diseases like Alzheimer’s and I want to have made some kind of difference in the fight against this horrible disease. If only a handful of people tell me that my honesty and transparency in my fight helps them, I've won.”
